Senior Pictures in Bismarck | Mackenzie S. from Kidder County

Mackenzie is up on the blog today! She was one of my 2024 Kidder County seniors, and we headed west to take her senior pictures in Bismarck. We started downtown for her volleyball and formal outfits, twirled in a field of wildflowers, and ended the night on sandy beach. It was the perfect mix of urban and outdoorsy locations on one of the nicest nights of the summer.

Wearing a jersey with jeans is a great way to get some sports photos that are a little more casual than wearing a full jersey. With Mackenzie’s senior volleyball season right around the corner, this was a great way to commemorate an activity that she’d been a part of throughout high school!

Next up for Mackenzie’s senior pictures in Bismarck was this showstopper outfit! When she told me she had a red top and heels for her more formal outfit, I knew this white brick with red trim was going to be the perfect location.

The Barbie movie had just come out, and this outfit was giving major Barbie vibes! One of my favorite things about shooting senior pictures in downtown Bismarck is the variety of options for locations – the reflective glass was so fun to play around with.

Who doesn’t love photos in a field of wildflowers! We hit the timing just right on this one, and the flowers were in full bloom. The “Barbie” dress was so perfect in both the downtown location and this more “outdoorsy” location as well!

Last but not least, we headed to the beach for the last location of Mackenzie’s Bismarck senior pictures. This sandy location will forever be one of my favorites, and her outfit was the perfect earthy tones to match it.
